Ok so I started this dang blog and wrote one teeny-tiny post and then BOOM, that was all. I'm such a slacker sometimes, however, I think this time I have a couple very LEGITIMATE excuses for not keeping up with my blog. So much is going on all at once, I feel like I could be easily overwhelmed and in a hurry. But, God is in control. I just have to keep telling myself that: God is in control! God is in control!!
So not only have I been stressed at work, but I'm coming up on the end of the semester for school. And let me just say that I still hate college as much as I did back in the day! It's not any less stressful doing everything online. The professors certainly don't give you any slack. I've finished 2 of my classes and will finish up the last one this week. And then I'll start all over in January. I know that it's something I HAVE to do in order to be more successful, I just hate having to do all the work to get there. Wow, that sounded extremely lazy. Oh well, I'll eventually get there. I never realized how hard it would be though, to work full time and go to school and still take care of all the every day things that a mom does. It's tough, to say the least.
And if school and work weren't enough to deal with, Bobby and I are in the process of buying a house!!! That's right! Who would have thought?! We are soooo beyond excited, but I'm 250% nervous about the whole thing! But, I'm the worrier, and I just can't help it. The house we found is brand new, and will be completed mid-January. I can't remember the exact date, but we saw it on Saturday and the only thing it lacks really is the carpet, and the installation of all the appliances and fixtures. We are SOOOO blessed to have been given this opportunity, and know that God has a plan for us. We are ecstatic to be buying a brand new home! Just think, we'll be the first ones to have brushed our teeth in the sink, to burn a fire in the fireplace, etc. And we can do whatever we want with the decor, and can paint the walls whatever we want! It's going to be so nice to be able to scream as loud as we want at the tv on college football saturdays, without the neighbors wanting to shoot us! But don't get me wrong, the process is nerve racking to say the least! But, everything will work out the way it's supposed to. Patience has never been my strong suit though. Pray for me. :)
Other than that, everything is running smoothly. Kassidy is LOVING kindergarten and has tons of little friends. She's growing like a weed and there is NEVER a dull moment when she's around. We are getting her for Christmas and have decided to spend a week at the Gaylord Texan. We're excited to take her to ICE and to do all the fun things that they offer. There's no doubt she's going to have the time of her life, and if she's happy, we're happy. So it will be fun no doubt.
Anyway, well I've rambled on enough for one sitting. Not that anyone is reading, but if you are, thanks for listening to me. haha. Until next time, peace and blessin's. (And I'll leave you with a picture of our "hopeful" new home!!)
